At Jabsco, we are passionate about bringing you the best marine products to make your time out on the open water more enjoyable. For over 80 years, we have been designing, engineering and manufacturing high-quality pumps, toilets, valves, lighting, and other marine parts that boaters rely on.
Our History

Jabsco started in 1938 when our founder Jack Bibby had a need for a small compact pump to use on his boat. Frustrated with the large, bulky and unreliable pumps on the market, Jack decided to design and build his own. Word quickly spread among the boating community about Jack’s innovative pump and he started getting requests from others who also wanted a compact, reliable pump.
In 1956, Jack officially launched the company Jabsco – a name derived from his own last name. We began exclusively manufacturing marine products including bilge pumps, livewell pumps, washdown pumps, and marine toilets, all engineered for quality, durability and reliability.
Over the decades, Jabsco has continued to grow and innovate. We acquired Paragon Gears, establishing ourselves as a leader in gear technology. We also expanded our product line to include specialized industrial pumps, hydraulic actuators, pressure water systems and more.
Today, Jabsco is a global company and a recognized leader in the marine industry. We operate manufacturing and engineering facilities in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, and China. Our extensive product line includes bilge pumps, irrigation pumps, marine toilets, valves, impellers, lighting, actuators, pressure systems and more.
Jabsco takes pride in having the most comprehensive range of marine products in the industry. Boat owners and marine technicians around the world trust us to deliver products engineered to perform reliably even in the most demanding conditions.
